So this case leaks a little....

A little duct tape and some JB Weld and your back to wheeling in no time.

There's a chance the internals are fine but that rear half the case is shooot.

Nothing a good tig welder or some JB weld cant fix...

this happens all the time the inside is fine 99% of the time you should replace both halves though. i had a guy come in that got hit in the right front tire on his TJ and it pushed the front driveshaft hard enough to explode the t-case housing but all of the gears and chain stayed in place and were re-used.

negative on fixing it

found a guy who is gonna sell one for 50 bucks, gonna keep mine to learn how to tear down and spare parts .

I vote for JB Weld!

No chance in hell you could tig weld that. The surfaces are too oily to weld and even if you cleaned it for 3 days straight it would fall apart. The weld would look great, but wouldn't hold up. My buddy's a professional welder and somebody cracked the aluminum trans case on their shifter cart and wanted him to weld it and he told them it wouldn't hold but he did it anyway and it broke almost instantaneously. It was funny.
