Default I painted my wheels

I don't like the silver stock wheels so I fixed that. I am going to be getting new rims soon but I had to do something to get me till then.
before and after.
I also built a roof rack out of emt.
what should I do next? besides get longer shackles.

The wheels look great! Nice XJ.
Next: roof rack lights, drive train armor, powertrax lockers?

Looks good. I think I would have color matched the wheels to the jeep with the black center caps.... Just me.

cash isn't real loose with this one. I know I need bigger tires but I think 33s are a little much (still want to tuck) plus the 235s that are on it now have good life still and I don't want to change till I get the full life out of them. I am hoping that skids will be soon but like I said $$$. Rack lights are (imo) overkill, I like to keep it simple, plus I just did a headlight upgrade (awsome by the way) so I don't feel that I need more lights. What tires? I like the duratrax and have heard that the life is good on them. I also like the general grabbers...anybody running them?

I wouldn't do any thing. Keep the tires until you wear them out. Then go up to 30" Cooper STT's. JMO!

my wallet thanks you for your input...ha ha I have looked at the coopers as well, is that what you run? I was thinking 31s but I don't know if they will tuck very well. My goal with my jeep is to be able to flex real well, not hit my garage ceiling when I park it (yes I park it inside) so I don't feel that a huge lift and big tires would be my friend. Where I wheel is not mud, rocks or sand, just some good old trails with lots of hils and humps.
