I’m a little confused about how to get a 2 inch lift and if it’ll be enough?

Default I’m a little confused about how to get a 2 inch lift and if it’ll be enough?

To start I’m going to be running 265/70R17 size tires, with a 2 inch lift will I be able to avoid rubbing and have some clearance? Regardless of that, how do you get desired lift height? I already have 2 inch brackets in the rear and longer spacers in the front for the coils I assume the previous owner did to level the ride. All the suspension is shot so I’m needing to replace it and I would like to get a 2 inch lift in the end. What I’m wondering is can I simply replace the old suspension with springs designed for stock ride height since I already have the spacers or do I need to get 2 inch lift springs? Another aspect I was curious about is that I’m going to have anywhere from 600 to 1,000 pounds of added weight at any one time while off roading, with this much weight I know my rig will not be riding at the desired lift height so should I go higher to compensate? Maybe a 3 inch lift instead of 2 inches so that I don’t have to do any heavy modifications.
