I hate CF
I hate CF because my 2000 sport only has a 4.5 aal kit and 31" mastercraft at's.
And all day I'm on here looking at nice Cherokees. It makes a little sad.

Lol, I know how you feel man. Before I really started poking around on here I was content with just having the one XJ, now I'm on Craigslist almost daily looking for another one, or five lol.

yeah theres always rigs bigger, better and nicer than yours, but just be content with what you have. look at it this way, if you are constantly pushing the limits of your setup it will make you a better driver off road.

Well I have a primer hood, acid rain damaged roof (horrible surface rust), I removed the side molding but I still have to take care of the surface rust on the doors, my windshield leaks and is starting to mess with some electrical.
All together it's just a mess.

Buy a cheap beater, garage the xj, if you dont have a garage put a tent over it and tear it apart and build it up. Thats how the best xjs come up, also try and find a cheap xj somewhere thats close to your year that has a blown engine or bad internals or no axels or no interior or something and swap your stuff to that. Or just slowly grind down all the rust and start fixing up what you have and fix the leak. When your at the bottom the only way out is up

It's hard to build the rig of your dreams when it's your daily driver. You almost have to drive a beater POS while building the XJ of your dreams.
