I Don't Like Cars
I drove a car today for the first time in my life. Kind of feels like a gokart and I was scared I was either going to get rolled over by the truck next to me or hit the curb and break something. I will always be a truck/jeep guy. I might be able to see driving like a corvette or mustang with a manual though. However, I am ecstatic to have a Jeep and not a car.

My jeep drives me sometimes and I try to help lol, but when the water pump went out, I had to drive my moms van for two days. I was soooo scared I was going to crash it because the steering was so stiff, and the turning radius is like twice of what my XJ's is.
When I ride in my cousin's Eclipse, I get scared too. Even though I could roll my jeep under 30 mph.

I hate driving cars too. I had to drive my dads dodge stratus while he took my jeep to fix some belt. Cars are too low and just not as safe as they should be.

No actually I am serious I don't like cars. Its not that they aren't cool its just I don't like driving them. Especially since it wasnt mine and I dont have the money to fix it if something went wrong. Steering is stiff as heck, its hard to get in and out of, and its scary being that low.

Love this thread!!! I can't really relay to this thread as I owned both cars and Jeeps (still do) I just have to remember to be careful when I drive my car because it has a bodykit on it.

This.
If u guys are not kidding you have no idea about physics? Cars are FAR LESS likely to roll. Compared to a jeep a car is a cat on crack.
Drive my jeep fast through a turn and see what happens.
drive my car through a turn quick and have smiles for days...

I actually used to drive around in a VW Jetta TDI... I really liked that thing. Our road was hard on it though. I got into a car for the first time in 2 years a few weeks ago. It was my aunts saturn sky... I think hell froze a little when I sad down into that thing. I didnt like it, plus I felt like my butt was draggin the ground like a dogs...lol

Yeah so what if its likely to roll. Just dont go fast around a turn. Doesn't change the fact that I don't like driving cars. I have always loved trucks and SUVs and will always love them. I feel so free in my jeep. I can go just about anywhere and dont have to worry about mashing my front end on a block curb. I am not saying that cars are bad they have their purpose just saying I really love bigger vehicles.

I hear ya! I don't like cars simply for their lack of capability off road and in harsh on-road conditions (deep snow, obstacles in roadway, and flooded roads). I am a very adventurous person, and I like being able to go places. There's a reason why my 2009 Cobalt only has 3800 miles on it after owning it for a year... I drive either the XJ or the diesel Suburban on 35s most of the time around town, and I save the Cobalt for visiting my parents who live 5 hours away and for date nights with my girlfriend.

I hate driving cars, too. I'm just more comfortable in my XJ or on my Bike (Honda V-Twin Cruiser). Problem I have with cars is SPEED. See I drive by feel not the speedo. I know what 65-70 feels like in the Jeep or on the bike, basically the same to me. But put me in a car, say the wifes Sonata and I'm blasting down the freeway at 90 and it feels like 50. Won't even drive my dads 350Z, anymore, last time I drove that I found out it does 150 in 4th gear, is 6 speed. Now understand I used to race cars and bikes for spending money, so I know how to drive fast, anywhere. But tickets are expensive. So the Jeep is for me and the bike is easily detuned. But it is still fun to reprogram the bike once in a while to embarrass the Crotch Rocket kids.
