Default HVAC Problem

So I purchased a 95 xj sport about a month ago for $700 with 498k miles on it and went through and began fixing everything up on it to get it driving again. Well i charged the A/C yesterday with a can of A/C pro but now the problem is I don't have heat. Even when i push the temp slider all the way to the right red zone and set it on defrost or heat it continues to come out ice cold. This caused me some problems last night on my trip to taco bell when my windows fogged up during a rain storm and I couldn't see lol. Any suggestions before I go tearing into vacuum and heater core hoses blindly?

That's probably is what it is because It make no noise when I move the temperature lever and from what I've found with searching it should be an electric motor that moves the door. (All I can ever find is guides for 97-01 xjs though ugh)

So my 95 has steel cables and levers that operate all the doors from the looks of it but I found my problem. I followed the one vacuum line down to the bumper to find it was missing the canister so I threw a spare in that and then fooled around with the vacuum actuated piece the goes into the valve assembly before the heater core and now everything works a it should.
