Rotarys are actually good engines, but they don't make good torque. They suck at gas mileage too. And if you overheat one, you can kiss all the rotor seals goodbye. :-)

A rotary is good if you drive like a old lady,The apex seals last 50k that way if you push it hard 10k to 20k max.
