Hum job
Recently I needed a new phone and Verizon talked me into getting a Hum along with the phone. The Hum connects to the OBD port and apparently reports everything the vehicle it's attached to does.
The little unit is GPS equipped and gives me the option of using it paired with my phone for navigation as well as locating the Jeep if it's stolen, as long as the Hum stays connected, which was my main motivation for getting it.
It's a sophisticated little tracking device that I can't believe I voluntarily plugged into my vehicle. Thankfully it includes me in its monthly surveillance report, which shows that I don't get out much, but when I do I either go slow enough to smell the roses or fast enough to get a ticket, but I get good gas mileage...
