Thinking about buying one and was going to get opinions. Seems like a great deal to me and I know superwinch has pretty good reviews and good customer service along with their warranty. The only down side is they are heavier than a Warn, BUT, they draw less amps under load.

I'm not that familiar with Superwinch, and I don't know what your needs are in a winch.
I have friends who run Warns, Mile markers, T-Max, Ramsey, and Smittybuilt, most of them swear by them. As long as you have a winch that is rated at least 1.5 times the weight of your rig you shouldn't have any problems. I have a friend that bought a Smittybuilt XRC 8 winch with the synthetic line and he really loves it. I think he said it was like 500 dollars.
