How to tell if a hitch will fit?
All I used was the hitch itself, a $2 bolt leader to pull the bolts through the unibody, four carriage bolts and nuts for under $6, and four frame lockers for under $6. Some people go with 6 bolts.
Something like this:
The square thing goes into the unibody with the carriage bolt, and the square hole locks the carriage bolt into place so the bolt doesn't twist and loosen in the unibody.
All in all, this is your goal (the spring-looking thing is called a bolt leader):

Well they're as safe as anything else. They're not going anywhere after the torque I put down on them and the hitch has been through many uses.
The passenger side has weld nuts in the unibody already, so one side is basically as shown and the other is welded.

Ok got the hitch! thanks for the help guys. What size grade 8 carriage bolts should I get? Does only the driver side need the square plates? Also currently I have a rear hook on similar to the one in this picture. Is it at all possible to keep this on with the hitch?
