Assuming you want to make them easy to take off/on? Cut the lower piece of each hinge...BUT.... I don't know if I'd do it to a 2dr. The hinges are already stressed from the extra weight/leverage of the bigger doors so I don't know how long it might hold up.

i know this thread is old but i thought id put up my pics just in case you still needed some ideas. Instead of cutting anything. i took out the stock pins out (which is a pain to do) and put my own pin in to make it removable without taking all 6 screws out everytime. Its a pain of a process but it works.

no, I think that could melt the whole area. I took of the doors off by unbolting the stock screws to to be able to get to the hinge better. then I used a grinder on the top of the pin. I dont know the correct term for the type of pin the factory used but it needs to be either cut in the middle or grinded off at one end. Once I did that, I barrowed a air hammer from a friend and punched out the factory pin. After that, you can put the hinge on, get the doors back in place and then just take the pin out to take the doors off instead of taking out the annoying screws. It is still not super easy like wrangler doors but its better. This process is a pain so be prepared if you decide to do it. My jeep is not my daily driver and im glad because I didnt finish this project in one day. good luck.

I suppose if you have access to one, you could use a plasma cutter to get them out by cutting them in the middle, as well.

have you had any trouble with the pin you used starting to come out? I had made my own pin and it fit perfectly but after about a month, it would started to move up and out of place. that why I put the cotter pin there and now they dont move. do yours stay in place because I like how yours has the piece on top to be able to grab it by.

You can get cotterless hitch pins, that have a small spring-loaded ball bearing in one end to prevent them from walking out of the hole. Most hardware stores carry them.
