A buddy of mine got his hands on his brother's old XJ, and I am thinking about buying it off of him. Here's what he's got-

1995 Cherokee Sport
Automatic 4.0L
164k miles.
3in Rough Country lift
31x15 BFG Mud Terrains AND 30x15 Toyo a/ts
(Two sets of wheels and both a 30 inch and 31 inch spare)
It is less than gorgeous, but no body/frame/undercarriage rust AT ALL. Interior is dirty, and needs a headliner. Body has the scratches and minor dings you'd expect out of a 15 year old Jeep, and the p-side front quarter panel has been replaced and the paint is off by a hair.
The guy is an experienced mechanic who I grew up with and trust- he just rebuilt my '58 CJ5 engine with me. He stands by the condition of the drivetrain and frame, and I trust that.
