Measure from the center of the wheel/axle to the flare and record the number. Then compare it to the numbers listed in the lift height thread mentioned earlier.

The front is 22" from center to flare, so 4 1/2 there, and the back is 20" so 3 back there, anyone think that sounds about right, and should i be adding a couple leaves to the back to fix the sag? when the jeep is loaded i get some rub on the flares in back, though i do need new shocks.

The most economical thing you could do is to discard all the leaves below the main leave and replace it with the bottom three leaves from an 80s or 90s heavy duty spring off an S10. That will give you about the right amount of lift and a good ride also.

my suggestion would be longer shackls... lift blocks is never really a great idea... when you run a lift with lift blocks it creates a much greater chance of axle wrap.... meaning your rear axle will have a greater tendency to pitch and turn...which will cause un-even tire wear and other issues. the closer the axle can stay to the leaf springs the better thats why its best to just run lift leaf packs, the idea with the S10 springs would work well also. I've never run them but i know of a few people that have and yes they do ride fairly smooth still
