Just curious how many miles people currently have on their engines. In order to keep the poll pure please respond ONLY if your engine has NOT been rebuilt or replaced.

 

I cast the first vote and I THINK my XJ has about 248,000 miles but I am not sure as it was driven 10 years with the wrong size tires which threw off the milage and then I swapped out instrument clusters to get rid of the dummy lights and can't recall the exact milage difference but it was somewhere around 30,000

 

I also swapped out the gauge cluster...at 147,000. for a cluster with 214,000. oh well...

 

1996 XJ with only 128,00 miles.

 

92 XJ with 320,000. Has the 4.0 and runs super smooth!

 

1995 4.0 with <20 miles!!

Fresh build lol

 

94 sport, 286k. Engine was rebuilt at 266k. Original trans and transfer case however untouched and working strong.

Sorry, im on my phone and missed the OP. But the mileage was at 266k and running strong and woulda kept going but got a gash on oil pan last year and didnt realize it, til it was too late.

 

235,xxx and counting on the meter. More than that actually though, uncorrected speedo with 31's for 4 years.

 

My 85 XJ has just 40124 miles on it's 2.5. Barely even broke in!

 

I've got 220,000 on my 96 xj. Just about everything has been replaced at some point exempt for the speedo. I might do that next.

 

Im now at just over 76k original miles on my 2000 Sport.

 

1998 4.0 Limited 64K
2001 4.0 Classic 34K

 

96xj all original just skirting the edges of 175,000

2001 limited. 300,148 miles as of today. Head gasket replacement only.
