How log did it take..
2-3 months of daily searching. Just have to be patient. I went and test drove one for $4500 early on when I was looking for an XJ. I offered the guy $3,200 and he accepted. When I went to grab the money out of my car, I sat and thought about it and something was just telling me not to do it. I turned around and told the guy I'd have to pass. About a month or so later I stumbled upon mine, drove down to KY, picked it up, and I couldn't be happier that I held out through all of the other XJ's I looked at for this one.

This is the first winter I will actually be in CO, so anxiety is kind of a big factor lol. My mustang is less than useless in the snow and ice.

Trust me, in the long run it will be much more worth it.
Not that bad of a deal at all but I'd definitely check everything out. Seems kind of pieced together, basically like he just slapped a lift and rear on it with huge tires. Just depends if you want to do the work and spend more money getting everything correctly complimented or buy something that has a more solid base. Plus if that thing has a dirty 30 with those 37's

I def would prefer to do the work myself so I know what has been done and how it has been treated.

Now, that's more like it. That one looks good and seems like a fair price. Talk him down a bit and drive it home assuming something isn't obviously wrong with it.
