How To Know What Kind Of Jeep You Have

Okay I've read about many different types of jeeps. I'm going to assume that mine is a xj, but I don't know how to tell. Need this info to order parts

what year is it? if its ther grand cherokee then u got a zj or wj,if its the cherokee like mine then u got a xj

Sweet, xj's are good. My jeep is sitting at the shop having a new clutch put in. As soon as it get's out of the shop I'll post pics.

yes xj to me seems more rugged than a zj and thats good that its gettin ne clutch,what all done to ur xj? or is it stock?

Mine's all stock besides the exhaust. But it needs some serious body work.

body work is purdy simple for the most part as long as its mechanically sound then thats good

Yeah the motor and drivetrain are solid. Put most of the wrench work in myself. I just didn't have the equipment to change the clutch myself. It's a Hurricane Katrina rescue. Needed a little work to get it running, but nothing too bad. Changed fluids, plugs and alot of peripherals; starter, alternator, and coil. But the engine is great even though it has over 200k miles.

mine has 256k miles on it and runs great,u have ALOT of life left in urs

JK - 3rd, and current, generation of the Wrangler.
FJ - The only van Jeep produced.
463 - *****'s Jeep Wagon.
2T/4T - *****'s Jeep Truck.
C101 - The Jeepster Commando.
C104
- The Jeep Commando.
Forward Control - A "cab over" pickup.
Gladiator - Full size pickup based on the SJ Wagoneer. Predecessor to the Honcho.
Honcho/J10-20series - Full size pickup.
SJ - Full size Wagoneer, Cherokee, and Grand Wagoneer.
XJ - Compact SUV, unibody Cherokees.
MJ - Light duty pickup based on the XJ.
