Well, idk about you cause you're on 35's with 4.88's, but if you were stock it would be 111mph, downhill with the wind at your back.

We have 75mph speed zones around here.
I've had mine around 50 or so. I keep it in 2wd as much as I can

more like six so you're not far off. It's a frozen tundra right now. At least out west you guys have cool snow covered mountains to look at. I was aware that California isn't all sunshine and beaches but I didn't know that it was so close to the south, though

anyway my point was that in my passat I can do 55 60 on snow ridden back roads no problem whereas my xj in 2wd is nowhere close to being able to do that. I know flying on ice rinks is a bad idea and no amount of tires with power will help you stop, but not all winter conditions require you to crawl

Ahhhh! You must mean this?

Maybe this?

That California is all palm trees and beaches is a common misconception. There are places in California that boast temperatures well below zero every winter. In 2010 I experienced a blizzard that dumped 180 inches of snow in 5 days... in California. The season total for that year was 55 feet. Feet. So don't assume that just because I happen to reside in the "Sunshine State" I know nothing of driving on snowy, icy roads.

on a side note that sunset shot is awesome. did you take these?

Thanks and yes, I did take them. The sunset is actually a sunrise but I guess it's a sunset someplace on Earth.

You know what? Shut up. We don't need your factual data. LOL.
