Maybe a more vague search would return better results..such as hi lift mount ideas or something similar... "how do you mount your stuff"....that doesnt even refer to anything specific...only reason I even opened the thread was to see what the hell it was about.

My highlift is in pieces under the rear seat. Everything else is just strapped down in the back.

This one is a mount for the 48' high lift. Can mount it to the back of your seats for $56

http://www.polyperformance.com/shop/...t-p-29510.html

I've seen a couple people mount it on the hood, it's easier to find mounts for the wranglers cuz they have the bolt in hood for it, they look cool but in my opinion I think are kinda a safety concern. If you get in a wreck seems like kinda a safety concern.

Sorry for the grumpyness. I thought a how you mount your "Stuff" thread could be interesting. I'm a research analyst looking at Cherokee Forum while a 20 million row file runs. The whole "we covered this topic before, do a search, gets a little old. I do look first.

I just got a new lockable metal toolbox thrown in with a roof rack, maybe 18" x1'x 3', so I've been thinking about if it should go up there or not and where. It would really have to be bolted down, but it probably is no worse than a tire up top.

The CB location thread was kind of interesting and if people carry a fire extinguisher or first aid kit where it is mounted interests me also. Been thinking about where a Gerrycan could go also because I might go out on a trip with an overlanders group and I could probably be carrying a little spare gas in the black hills.

This was kind of a manly way to mount a jack, though I'd hate to lose it going down the highway.

Not trying to be grumpy...just trying to help keep the forum unclogged. Here is a link to the best one I found when I searched.
