Default How do i unhook this?

Ow do I unhook the hood cable from the hood? I need take my hood off but it won't go anywhere with that attached lol.

there will be a bolt behind your grill that attaches the hood latch and becareful opening it up and remove the cable and push on the lever to get the hood up

Thats behind the lights and you dont need to remove those.

Lower the hood some and you can slide the end of the cable out, its just a billet at the end of the cable that slides in a slot.

Yep, right where that yellowish piece is is the end of the sleeve the cable runs through, the end of the cable should have something similar to the end of the bottom pic.



With a little slack it should slide right out.

You get some slack in the steel part of the cable, remove the "cylinder" out of its holder then the whole thing will come out.
