how do i remove door

???? Help! I can't get my door off! I even have the fender removed and still can't get it off! Anybody know how to or any hints????

Engine: 4.0 160k banks header dumping after the cat
taking the fender off shouldn't help you any... there is 6 T40 torxs bolts per door. look for them on the hinge going into the door.

yup it is a pain to fit the socket in there, you can only really get one bolt out using the socket, i'll tell you what i did to get them off... i had to check a couple different stores but i found a T40 torx socket where the torx part actually pulls out of the socket part. i then just took the torx part and a quarter inch wrench (or whatever fits on your torx bit) and got them out that way, it was time consuming but i've done it on a few jeeps now and its seems to be the best way besides cutting the hinges and making the doors removable. hopes this helps ya a little bit

Go to Harbor Freight, and pick up some socket caps. I think i paid like $5 for a set of 3. They also come in very handy if you need to change the o-rings in your oil filter adapter.
