Thats not a bad idea. My buddie hit a tree with his '71 Chevelle and sold his "useless" hood for $20, and it took awhile before he did. If you are just looking for the cowl that thing would've been perfect.

exactly. Your saying find one of those b/c it has the indented hood pattern in it so it would ine up with the centerline of the hood. I would really like to find one of those but thats like a scavenger part. First things to go off xj @ junkyard: top overhead console, & hood cowls.

there is a website tho, gojeep.com its a guy from Australia who has done every possible thing to his right side wheeled xj.

The hood vents on his i love but i would much rather get my hands on a actually cherokee cowl like swamp donkey's pic
