Find an old one at a junkyard and get cutting some holes, bending some steel and rivet or weld yourself a hood and then head to home depot or autozone and spray paint her up. it would run you like 120$ maybe 40-50 for a hood depending on the junkyard, lets say 30$ for sheet metal and lets just say a 25 dollar rivet gun then 25$ in paint.

I had thought about just doing vents but then I heard guys talking about water from the rain ruining electrical. This is my daily driver I am working on.
A question that I haven't seen asked yet (surprisingly) is why hood vents? If its to help deal with it running hot/overheating then I'd recommend assessing the issue first. T-stat, radiator, water pump, fan clutch and fan shroud are all crucial components in maintaining proper temps. If you are looking to just help ensure you maintain better temps when in extreme conditions then I'd tell you to consider looking at the DIY snorkel in my sig. It had a noticeable impact on my temps and there is no issue with taking on water unless you submerge your jeep up to the windshield.. A lot of hood vents have drip pans to catch and direct the water somewhere safe. You can make them yourself with spacers and sheep metal..
