After 3 years I finally have a paint report. Don't use rust-oleum rubberized undercoating on your racks. While it look great when new, within a year it will start to fade due to the sun exposure and rain impact. I sanded it down and put rust oleum enamel on it for now. Turned out pretty good only time will tell if it hold up. I sure hope it does because it sucked sanding down a rack by hand. Hope y'all enjoy. You will also see the light at I built to attach to the rack. Along with homemade shovel and hi-lift mounts on both sides

I just installed a Rola on my XJ. I'm looking at how I'm going to do a off-road light set up for it.

 

I havent looked up what a Rola is but if it has a tubular frame, the setup i came up with is simple and cheap.
