Are you trying to center the wheel or do an alignment? to center the wheel you turn the adjusting sleeve on the drag link. to do an alignment you need to measure toe and adjust the tie rod

Dude if you have a half turn of the steering wheel before the wheels move you have bigger problems than needing to center the wheel....like a bad steering box or a broken trackbar. When you turn the wheel one way, does the front of the Jeep want to move the opposite?

Agreed with above - there are bigger issues. And, I think, a terminology conflict. If the wheel was simply not turned straight when you are moving straight down the road, then this is the adjustment you need. But, you should see a reaction at the tires pretty quickly to the steering wheel. If you get a half a turn before the wheels do anything, you need to investigate immediately. While parked, have someone turn the wheel back and fourth and watch it fron underneath and see what is not working right.

By the way, be sure to start at the steering shaft that goes through the firewall and to the steering box. There is a weak spot in that shaft that may have given out. It was built with the weakness, I think, to break in a crash so it doesn't kill the driver.

Anyway, start up there and move down until you find a culprit!
