Just a repeat. Can't say enough about this must have tool.

You can have a front winch, you can have a rear winch. Shoot, you can have both.

You better have a high lift jack also

Got burried out wheeling by myself again. High lift jack to the rescue. If I had a front winch, it would have been buried. Took about 20 minutes, but I used the high lift jack as a winch to pull me out of the ditch.



Its easiest to put the jeep in nuetral, or even in drive or reverse depending on your situation. While you winch yourself out.

Now if your winching down hill obviously you need to use extreme caution. Don't want to get run over. LOL

Anyways the high lift jack I have had to use for recovery probably 25 times. Its never failed.



When I am out wheeling, just me and my dog. I know the old high lift will get me out.



No matter how I am stuck. LOL







Anyone else using the high lift for recovery?

 

Ive used it to lift 4x4 posts burried 3ft with a bag of concrete around em that had been there atleast 5 years, worked flawlessly.

 

Mine gets used almost every time I go out, whether its to winch somebody out, jack up a Jeep to change a tire or put something under a tire for traction, or using the handle for extra leverage on a wrench. Its always getting used for something. One of the most useful tools I carry, along with shovels and 2x4s. Those items get used all the time when we go wheeling.
