I like that behind the seat mount but it limits the space when you put the seat down and it won't fit there when you put a 31" spare inside. I am going to make some mounts to mount it behind the inside spare tire along the bottom edge of the window.

I put mine on my factory cross rails for a while, I just used 2
U bolts and put rubber hose around the bottom to protect the
Cross rail and put wing nuts for easy access. Worked great for me.

i have my 60 inch jack on my stock roof rack on the top of the rails but to the side it sits there fine. i have it tied down with a rope and locked up with a cable every once in a while it moves around but that is when i am driving like an *** the only thing it is a pain to untie and retie on the trails or anywhere i will post a pic tomorrow bc it is dark now in chicago
