Hi lift on stock roof rails?

I wouldn't want to risk the weight of the jack ever coming loose and possibly causing an accident behind you.

I saw wrangler with its jack mounted near the windshield wipers which made sense cus it Sooooo accessible there, but I think us xjs wouldn't hold one there isn't it like plastic? I got a hi lift and wanna see the coolest place to put it besides where is it now about to smash my sub in the rear lol

I dont have pics but my buddies ex-xj had a hi-lift under the rear seat. It was sweet cause it was out of the way and nobody rode in the back. Bad ideal if you have company or lots of gear.

Keep you hi lift inside your jeep so it doesn't rust or get stolen.

Anything can be done. Depends on how much time and money you want to throw at it.

i just got my jack and just got a 3 inch RC lift. planning on building a custom roof rack with a tig welder eventually but need my hi lift jack now. I definately agree with the hood mounts! that would be sick! I would love to find the guy that did that.
