As anyone dabbed up their own hood mounts for a high lift? I searched but didn't find anything

The wranglers do it because they already have hinges up there, there are a few xjs who did it, but all the ones I have seen need to remove them to open the hood

Anyone have any tips or a list of what they bought to mount it on the hood? I'm taking my roof rack off due to it being too close to clipping stuff with my new lift, and I don't want to mount it anywhere inside, since I feel like it'd get in the way. I put my backseat down often for cargo hauls. I like the look of the hood. Just wondering what the best (and safest) way to mount it is.
