i have a 98 cherokee sport with a dana 35 i would like to run a 6.5 inch lift kit and a 4.11 gears should i put in a dana 44 can i even fit a dana 44

thanks i blew my back rear witch was a dana 35 wit 3.55 in it and i wanna run 35 inch tires and 4.11 gears i just wanted to know what would be the best rear to put in or just change out the gears in my dana 35

Are you sure it is a Dana 35? I did'nt think 98's came with anything other than the Chrysler 8.25?

my 98 has a dana 35. I think the ABS were all 35's

4.10 is way too low for 35s. i'd go with 4.88 gears for 35s. that will keep you at 17mpg range. dana 44 would be an excellent choice, but it's hard to come by.
consider a ford 8.8 from an explorer. with bigger tires you will need better brakes. 95+ explorers came with 31 spline axles and disk brakes.
also, you will need a new carrier for your front dana 30.

what would be a carrier for my front rear and whould i have to change it out or can i run the dana 30

the best way is to get a locker for a dana 30 with a carrier that can take 4.88 gears. and honestly, i'm not sure if a ford 8.8 will take 4.88 gears with a stock carrier. i'm pretty sure that it can, but i'd have to check.
