Default Help with stabilizer install!!

I got the frame side mount bolts un done and just took the castle nut off, is it threaded into the drag link or would a hamner knock it out? Any other tips on how to take the stabilizer off?

pickle fork and a BFH. Your local parts store should rent them, but for under $15 it's a nice tool to have on hand.

pickle fork between stabilizer and tie rod. in the crack. and you hit the fork on th end. forces itself between the two halves. same as tie rod end removal on most vehicles.

as well as on the end of the stud, hammer on the tie rod itself right in front of where the stud goes thru it.

If the hammer in the picture is the one you're using you're going to need a bigger hammer. You want like a 4 lb sledge hammer. You may really have to give it a good whack.

Is there any way to get a 2-jaw or 3-jaw puller on there? or ball joint press?

I'm using a small sledge hammer now, it's not budging! It's ridiculous!

You think thats stuck? You should have seen my TRE stuck inside the frame mount. I cut the trac bar in half to get to the TRE...anyways I got the mount off..me and a few buds put it on a table vice...and with a HUGE 8lb sledge hammer we slammed it for like 30 minutes straight...finally popped out.
