Default help! oil pan gasket leak causing slipping? is that possible?

I took my 1995 grand cherokee to a trans shop. they told me my trans wasnt slipping or going out that it simply was the oil pan gasket leaking causing it to jerk. they tightened it telling me that itd prolly losen and if it did i would have to replace it... is this true or what else can it be. when it was tightened there wasnt any jerking but the jerking is back and so is the leak? this has been an on going problem for a year or more.

Manual transmission? Oil on the clutch assembly can cause problems.

IF your oil leak is coming from the oil pan tightening it is just a temporary fix (sometimes it no fix at all). Can't see how it's causing the jerk.
