Help the new guy??
Hey guys I'm pretty new to lifting jeeps and planning on getting a small lift kit soon for my 94 Cherokee my question is should I go with the 1.5 in rough country lift kit, or the 2 inch skyjacker lift kit? Which one would be better?? Thanks so much guys!!

I have the RE 2" BB, with aal and i have no complaints. I just drove it from seattle to baltimore with no issues and it rides great. What are you planning on doing with your jeep? Is it a DD, a WW, or a wheeling machine?

Front: 2" BB and ZJ coils (+1.5")= 3.5"
Rear: 2" shackle and 2" aal or bastard pack. The rear should sag down a bit to equal the front. Or if you get a rear leaf pack (more $) with a 3" lift, then you could just get 3" front coils. This all start to get more expensive as I go, so it's really up to your budget. The other consideration is your shocks. Longer travel shocks are a good idea to allow maximum flex. Relocating the axle brackets on rear is a good way to avoid needing new shocks, but the front is still an issue... Also at about 4" you start really needing steering and driveline adjustments.. This is when it gets pricey, so know what you want before dropping the cash!! My .02!!
