It's a 97 Limited. This problem started yesterday. I've already had to jump start it twice. The interior lights wont switch off even when the car is locked???

Any help would be appreciated - also - sorry if this is posted in the wrong place - bit of a ruch job

 

Try messing with your dimmer switch...

I could move to OEM tech if you'd like?

 

now i feel stupid - I can't find a dimmer switch. I think this might have started after I locked it and doubting my self locked it again. Now it makes a bleep when ever I use the key fob to lock it again..............or i could be wrong

 

If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it - not sure how much longer this battery will last!

 

Your head light switch controls the interior lights when clicked all the way to the left make sure its not on by twisting it to the right and close the door see if they go off

 

Oh my god!!! I didn't know that switch could twist!!! I thought it was just in or out!!! You sir are a saviour - thank you so much. I even contacted the seller and he had no idea what could be causing it other that the door switches - which i'd just began to check before returning here to check for messages.

when i twisted the pull out for head lights. driving down road lights turned on just yelled no way sweeet!!! new jeep owner as well.
