HELP!!!!! heater just quit blowing

Default HELP!!!!! heater just quit blowing

So I was taking my brother to school this morning and I got to turn on my heater and........ nothing! I don't no much about heating and cooling systems so any ideas or answers would be great! Thanks in advance

Replace the blower motor and check the resistor. I just did this with my 97. The blower will create drag and take out the resistor. Not a cheap fix unless your Jeep is pre 97.

Check the 30A fuse under the dash first

Duh why didn't I check the fuse lol but its a 92 so it shouldn't be expensive your saying? Well that's if the fuse isn't just bad

the switch could be bad. the harness for the switch could be bad. could have a frayed wire

Thanks, Tural. I didn't think of the wiring or the fuse. The '97 - '01 blower motor is 3 to 5 times the cost to replace as the '96 and down is. Kind of disgusting.

thanks guys going to try and figure it out tomorrow sometime after i get back from the jy glad to hear my jeep is one of the cheap one to fix if that motor went bad on

Ths may sound funny but it'll help figure out your problem. beat on the black heaterbox on the underside of the passenger dash When I say beat i don't mean BF hammer or nothin just hit it with your fist if it comes back on your motor is going if not there are other problems

You know what that's exactly how I figured out my fuel pump was going out but I'm going to run power to it tonight see if she kicks on if so I'm just putting in a switch
