I have the nice champagne colored 2000 XJ Sport. I would like my color scheme to be matte black/champagne. Can anyone help me locate the exact champagne color as the body paint? Would be amazing, picture included for reference.

Open the driver door and look for the sticker that has the vin and factory tire size on it.On the bottom of that sticker will say PNT: and some numbers or letters that is your factory paint code. You can google the paint code or go to any auto body place they should tell you the real name of the paint code.

The paint code is on the door sticker if you order that paint code it should match.

Using the paint code, I purchased twice from The Bumper Store on Amazon. Great results, service, and support.

There are numerous other options as well. http://www.automotivetouchup.com/

New paint on a 15 year old sun fade vehicle is quite noticeable. Only way it would be exact is a full shoot.Originally Posted by toasterknight

This is the key for faded paint a good body shop can measure what the color is "Now with fading" and mix the color.

Some parts stores aside from local paint can take a picture of your paint and make paint to match. Some places can make it in spray cans.
