Hi there all,

My manual 2.5td 1998 Cherokee has developed a problem. Sometimes when i start her, she will not go into gear. If i then stop her and start her again (apart from once) she goes into gear and drives normally. The problem seemed to get worse over the weekend and i want to fix her before i do some real damage. Gearbox is smooth in all gears.

Any pro's who could help? i am quite new to Cherokee's. A friend said it could be hydraulic problem? Slave master cylinder?

Any ideas would be apreciated. Thanks
