x2... and before some goober jumps in with "why would you want to limit your flex with bump stops", that isn't how it works... look up ktmracer's write up on low center of gravity builds. Go with the 35's, but expect to regear, and get longer bump stops. You're gonna lose power and gas mileage, it's simple mechanics. But you can lift your jeep to the sky and those pumpkins aren't gonna give you any more ground clearance without going to bigger tires. an 8 lift on 31's can get the axles hung up on a rock or railroad tie just as easy as a 3" on 31's...
