Exclamation Help !!!

Hey all, I have a 94 Jeep Cherokee Country and I need to replace the rocker panels. The manual that I have says I need to remove the doors via the 6 bolts attaching the doors to the hinges. My problem is...I can not get my door open enough to reach the bolts, they have that torque type nut that looks like a 8 pointed star. I have done everything else I can think of except I did notice that there is a pin in the middle of the hinge, I was gonna try and remove that and try and reuse this hinge, is that possible??? Does anyone have a better way to take the doors off??? I do not want to have to cut the hinge off because i would like to reinstall the doors. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
