Help!
Went to drive my jeep to a meeting, I crank it up, it felt a little jumpy. I'm not sure how to describe it. When idling it feels like it jumping. Not to say the jeep is "shaking", but it was definitely idling rough. I could feel it in the drive too. I didn't really notice the roughness until I put it in reverse. It drives and everything, just seemed rough.
Any suggestions?

Just drove it again. It ran normal, no rough idle. I put it almost to the floor and it did fine. The only light on is the Maint. Req'd light.
Sorry, it's a 1992 4.0.
I'm not sure what was going on before, and I am VERY limited on my knowledge of an engine, but it seems fine now. I'll post if anything happens.

Will a 92 throw codes? I was under the impression that the maint req'd light was just timed and didn't actually bare any real meaning? The check engine light isn't on.

The maintenance req'd light should just be indicating the need for an oil change... Since your obd1 if you did have codes you would want to do the olé key on/off/on/off/on-hold.. The check engine light will flash. Count the flashes and that will give you numerical codes. You then use the numbers as a reference to the actual code..
When was the last time you did a good tune up on your jeep? It would probsbky be a good idea to take the throttle body off and clean it out. If your fuel filter hasn't been changed in a while I'd suggest that also. Tps could be a culprit too but I would give everything a good cleaning first.
