Default Help!!

Ust got done putting a 3" lift on my jeep. Now that I'm driving it I'm noticing a grinding noise/feeling right under me when I barely tap the gas or let off of it. Anyone know what it is? Plus some stupid mechanic told me to put the jack on the t case and it got bent in a little?

If you dented the tcase housing then chances are its grinding against the internals.

Depending on the severity, new t-case, or just the cover.

Looks like the case is just hitting the floorboard try taking the crossmember off and straightening it to see if that helps.

Or could it be your exhaust rattling on the rear leaf spring shackle like mine does on take off and let off?

My crossmember is dented to all hell. So
It's prolly not that. maybe it's bad driveshaft u joints and have the extra pinion angle just made it worse.

Good call. That totally slipped my mind. BRAIN FART (verb): An involuntary release of ignorance.

That cross member isn't dented enough to be causing t-case issues. More than likely it's the rear DS u-joints binding due to the angle. Get new u-joints and the vibes should away.
