after looking at a few face lifted xj's i finally purchased a non face lift '95 limited. so now for the question, you know on the heads up display on the roof, it says C\T. Now on the face lifts when i pressed the button from what i assume is T for temp and the electronic compass it would switch to miles per gallon etc etc, should mine do this? When i press it the screen goes blank.... Then back to temp and elec compass. Sorry this must sound a daft question but i didnt get a manual or usuers handbook..

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

no idea from me, mine just got an overhead console added but only the lights work

I think the gas mileage feature is only available on '97+. I have it on my '99.

 

I believe the older consoles only had options for OFF/TEMP/COMPASS
