Default Headliner Question

I got the headliner out of my XJ and stripped the old fabric off and am currently in the process of using a brush to get the old foam off the headliner. I know that I need 3 yards of fabric to cover the headliner but my question is how many cans of adhesive do I really need? I've heard as many as 1 can per yard of adhesive. Also what brand should I use? I only want to do this once and would like to get it right the first time. The place I am buying the headliner material sells this stuff, is it any good?

Thanks in advance for the help

I had to use two ones made by 3M. Make sure you spray glue on headliner AND fabric and wait for glue to turn tacky
