Headliner help
I ripped out my headliner yesterday. And I've heard of this plastic backer? I don't have one. Maybe it's because I have the police package??
It's a 97 4.0. I wanted to redo the headliner in Mossy Oak Breakup, but I cna't because I don't have anything to go off of. lol.
Any where I can score one of those backers?

It's a fiberglass like board, Go to a JY to get one. '95 or earlier. I've always heard that a couple of years (96 & 97) didn't have them. I don't know why. Find one with the same feature as yours. (i.e. Over head console, sound bar) I myself don't care for the sound bar. And mounted two 6x9's in the rear hatch. Where the original 5 1/4's where.
