I used Permatex spray adhesive that I purchased from O'Reily's. Worked great with an instant bond. I tried some 3M headliner spray adhesive from Wal-mart, it was junk and there was not enough to even complete my sunroof sun shade.

I used a kit off the Internet. (used 2 cans of adhesive) I wanted it to look like factory original. It had enough to do the overhead console at the same time. Took about a day to pull out, recover, and put back in. ($50 invested) Happy with the results.
