headlight problem with upgrade
Got aftermarket headlight conversion and pluged them in and are dim as hell cause the highs are runing on with the lows. But if I unplug one and plug my old sealed beam one the aftermarket one gets bright and works normal works grear on lows abd highs unplug my sealed beam one aftermarket one dims and high/low run together. Someone on here said seems light the lows or high are grounding into each other. Im think defective bulbs. Until I firgure this out I just put back my old crappy sealed beam ones. Any ideas guys

Okay so I bought headlight conversion housing by rs type with halo and super white bulbs 60/55watt. I wired the halos to my parking lamps on my turn signals. Then I plugged the headlight to my connectors and bolted them up like normal. Turn my headlights on and low beams are very dim and my bright indicator on my dash was illuminated very dim . I was likw wth turned my brights on and they worked great on highs. Turned back to low beam went dim. I looked at the bulbs with them on lows and bothe the low and high beam filamens were lite but very dim. So just to test something out it took out the driverside housing out and hooked up my old sealed beam headlight in as soon as I pluged it in the aftermarket one on the passenger side got brighter and only the low beam filament was lite bothe low beams was working great pass side with aftermarket housing and driver side with old sealed beam . Worked on both high and low beam. As soon I unpluged the driverside headlamp the passenger side would go back like I metioned dim and both low/high filament lite . Wth what u guys think.when both aftermarket housings plugged in they are dim on lows and both filaments lite but highs work great.....

found mt culprit
Turbs out the bulbs that came with the housings were defective. The onr was burnt and melted. I snagged some headlight bulbs from the jy and works like new lows are bright and highs even brighter. These housings have a great beam cutoff and I can see a lot better
