Default has anyone ever replaced this cowl part ?

both sides are rusty .. I am going to cut two out at junk yard at some point.. and replace mine.. but I am curious if anyone has done this ? I realize its spot welded on and will take some work to replace it right.. and I will find out how hard it is when I get them from junk yard...if time permits.. maybe even get tomorrow at the LKQ half price sale.. so? anyone do this yet? I am sure someone has.. I hope...
thanks
Greg

I wouldn't say many (if any) have... it's not really a "part." Isn't that a part of the unibody construction essentially? Like you said, it's welded to the chassis.

yes it is several parts that are spot welded together to make one part of the unibody..
