Hard to go into gear??
So.....had my XJ for a few months now...put about a 1k miles and I've notice that sometimes usually when im in traffic....it tends to give me hell going into gear....any gear.but when I am cruising on the hwy....it shifts like a dream.....I have to apply pressure into the gear I am shifting for and slowly let out on the clutch.and sometimes I have to reluctantly force it into gear, I know this is wrong to do...but I am easily frustrated.....my dad said that the original owner did have to replace the clutch master cylinder and there may be air in the lines?? I said ok...haha anyway what do you guys think...and is it a easy fix or what?

Have you tried pumping the clutch a few times to get it into gear? If that works then there is most likely air in your slave/master hyraulic system. I had the same problem. If the fluid appears to be low top it off and that may fix your problem temporarily after you drive it for a little bit. But you may have to replace the system.
