Default Hack n' Tap SYE?

Anyone out there with a hack n tap sye? I have an np242 and I'm debating the $550 for a Tom Woods kit or to shoot for the $200 hack and tap iron rock kit with a referb shaft. I've read about the differences between the two but haven't talked to anyone who's done the kits. What's the word guys?

I have the 242 t case and run the hack n tap, my other buddy has the IRO 6.5 long arm on 35's with the hack n tap and I also installed it on a np231 so be saying I have it on 3 jeeps I think it's worth the money and 200 is pretty cheap for a SYE and driveshaft so go with it

Search around. Tons of info....

Take off both drive shafts, put it in reverse, use angle grinder. It will act like a lathe.

Then, iirc, put it in a forward gear for the drilling, just not while the motor is running. Thag way it stays in place.
