Default H4 headlight conversion kits

I have been reading up on these H4 headlight conversion kits like the ones that Delta and Hella sell. Am I reading correctly that theses kits do not have high beams? The stock headlights in my 99 XJ sure do leave a lot to be desired but if these kits dont have highbeams I am not sure that I would want to spend the money on them.

Think your confusing H4 and HID's. The H4's have a high, some of the HID's dont enable that feature.. iirc.

x2 on some HIDs not having high beams. H4's are just like your regular halogen headlamps, just with a housing and a bulb instead of being one piece like the factory headlights. I have the IPF H4 upgrade and I definitely recommend it. My friend has the Rampage housings in his '89 and my IPFs seem to have a much better low beam cutoff. His high beams also don't seem to have as nice of a spread as mine. The IPF housings are a bit more money, but definitely worth it IMO.

I did the IPF H4 housings, IPF H4 bulbs, as well as the eAutoworks upgraded wiring harness. Everything was plug and play and by far the best mod I have done to the Jeep.

I installed the autopal h4 headlight conversion.. also ordered an h4 hi/low hid kit. I do suggest the autopal, its only 40 bucks and comes with a set of halogen bulbs.

I've got less than $70 total invested in mine and it's some of the best money I've ever spent on this Jeep. I went with the Autopal housings and 55/100w h4 bulbs from ebay, and a cheap premade wiring harness upgrade. Quick and simple to do and just an amazing difference.

Euro Conversion Headlights (NOT "euro diamond") from ebay seller rimiinc - $43 shipped
eAutoWorks Harness - about $25 shipped

Installed the hid kit 6000k, love it, if you get the kit with the high beam only you may want to think about mounting driving lights on the bumper for city driving, thats what i had to do... i use the hids for off road and expressway driving
