Default h4 bulbs

I have ipf's h4 headlight conversion. pretty cheap compared to other headlight upgrade options(I don't consider ebay hid's in an h4 housing an upgrade). I originally didn't have a harness upgrade and had 9$ h4 bulbs and even that was way better than sealed beams. The bulbs didn't last long so I decided to get better ones. spent a little bit more money on some optilux bulbs and they have been great for 3 years except that they are higher wattage. I believe they are 80/100. with jeeps stupid switch setup, I blow light switches probably every 6 months. so I would like to know what other people's experiences have been with different stock or close to stock wattage h4 bulbs because I am going to go back down to this and put in an upgraded harness.

You would not have had the headlight switch blowing out in the first place with the light harness from lmc or putco..etc
